Funeral services for Eugene "Gene" Rene Rogez, 60, of Tulsa OK, were held Monday, January 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy, OK with Ed Lindgren officiating. Interment in A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, OK, was under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Gene passed away on January 8, 2015, at his home in Tulsa. He was born on January 21, 1954, in Henryetta, OK to Oscar and Annabelle Rogez. Gene worked as an electrician. He married Melissa Norris on November 24, 2004. Gene is survived by his wife Melissa of the home, 3 children: Cassie Coon, James Coon, Crissy Coon, 3 grandchildren: Jaydon Redleaf, Gunner Stone, Hayden Stone, a brother Oscar Rogez and wife Pat, a sister Linda Macaluso, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nancy.
