Erma Margaret Middlebrook Obituary Erma Margaret Middle, 86 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away February 4, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Erma was born May 23, 1923 to Roby Clayborn and Viola Dell (Miller) Cable in Wolf County, Kentucky. Erma had lived in Hominy for 51 years. She graduated from the school at Wildhorse, Oklahoma. Erma and Melvin Ray Middlebrook were united in marriage on July 5, 1940 in Hominy. Melvin preceded her in death July 20, 1980. Erma worked for Munsingwear Inc., as an assembly line worker and seamstress for 23 years. She was a member of Hominy, First Baptist Church. Erma is survived by one son- Tom Middlebrook and wife Fonda of Hominy; two daughters- Rita Fugarino and husband Joe of Wichita, Kansas and Cheryl Jech and husband Terry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one sister- Darlene Wilson of Hominy; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son and six siblings. Funeral Services were Monday, February 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Hominy, First Baptist Church Fellowship Building with Rev. Garry McDevitt officiating. Taped music selections were- Amazing Grace , When the Roll is Called Up Yonder , He Lives , and Beulah Land during viewing. Casket Bearers were- Jacob Middlebrook, Keith McCullough, Steve Haley, Brett Haley, Gary Block and Brad Holmes. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery with Powell Funeral Home making arrangements.
