Don Frederick Taylor Obituary Don Frederick Taylor, age 81 of Wynona, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Don was born February 27, 1928 to L.E. and Carrie (Barber) Taylor at Springfield, Colorado. Don and Marilyn Cecil were married December 22, 1997 at Wynona, Oklahoma. He has lived in Wynona since 1997. Don loved his work as a cowboy, which was his occupation for years. Don is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home- one son- Carl Taylor and wife Nelda; one daughter- Donna Briggs, one brother- Dan Taylor and wife Mary; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, six step-children and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and one daughter. Service was in Barnsdall at the Ethel Reese Cemetery Pavilion, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Rick Loggins Officiating and Mr. Tom Drummond doing the Eulogy. Taped music selections were The Real Thing and Gathering Flowers for the Masters Bouquet . Casket Bearers were Derek Stanton, Justin Taylor, Jay Taylor, Tate Taylor, Herman Stoy and Bo Rencountre. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
