Damon Richard Hamilton, 51, of Skiatook, OK passed from this life on September 14, 2022, in Tulsa. Damon was born December 29, 1970, in Huntington Beach, CA to Thomas Daniel Terry, Jr and Susan Hamilton. He was raised and received his education in both California and Hominy, OK, where he graduated high school. Following graduation, Damon attended Talking Leaves Trade School in Tahlequah to learn to be an electrician. Damon had started his own business called, Handy Man Hamilton. He was currently working in the Skiatook, Tulsa area at the time of his death. Damon was on the Hominy District In-Lon-Schka Committee.

Damon is survived by his mother – Susan Hamilton of Skiatook; his sons – Derek Hamilton of Tulsa and Devin Hamilton of Collinsville; daughters – Tiffani Hamilton Gaglinrdi and husband Nicholas of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Alyssa Hamilton also of Collinsville. Also surviving are two grandchildren Aiden and Addison-Blair; two brothers – Larry David (Dave) Madden Jr and wife Tara of Dewey; Andrew (Drew) Dreadfulwater, III of Skiatook and numerous nieces and nephews.

Indian services for Damon will be held at the Hominy Indian Village Chapel on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM with Everett Waller speaking. Burial will follow in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy. A wake for Damon will be held on Friday Evening, September 16, 2022 at 7:00pm at the Hominy Indian Village Chapel.

Services have been entrusted to the Powell Funeral Home of Hominy.
