Charles L. Montgomery Obituary Charles L. Montgomery, 77 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away at his residence August 5, 2010. Charles was born July 11, 1933 to Ed and Jenny (Hallimen) Montgomery at Wildhorse, Oklahoma. Charles and Ruth (Mathis) were married October 7, 1957. He is a lifelong Hominy area resident. Charles served in the U.S. Army; and was self-employed as a fence builder. Charles is survived by his wife Ruth of the home; four children- Charles Edward and wife Teresa Montgomery of Wynona, Oklahoma, Sharon Yvonne and husband Jim Harding of Hominy, Oklahoma, Ruby and husband John Stokes of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Joyce and husband Edward Rushing of Coyle, Oklahoma; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren; three sisters- Nettie Bray of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Pauline Carter of Hominy, Oklahoma and Wanda Butcher of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son- Ronald Ray Montgomery, three brothers and three sisters. Memorial Service is pending. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
