Carol Sue (LaCrone) Shadlow, 76 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on January 13, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carol Sue (LaCrone) Shadlow was born on December 13, 1944 to Ralph and Georgia (Kamm) LaCrone. Carol grew up in Hominy, Oklahoma and graduated from Hominy High School in 1964. After high school, Carol Sue attended business school where she studied accounting. Carol married her high school sweetheart, Amos Shadlow in 1966 and they made their home in Hominy, Oklahoma. Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She worked for Hominy Head Start and later began working for Hominy Middle School where she tutored students in math. Carol enjoyed her career at Hominy Middle School working with children, encouraging them to be their best and to never give up on improving. She retired from Hominy public schools in 2009.

Carol Sue is survived by: children, William Shadlow and family; Timothy Shadlow and family; brother, Leroy LaCrone; nine grandchildren and well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Carol Sue is preceded in death by: husband of 42 years, Amos Franklin Shadlow Sr.; parents, Ralph and Georgia LaCrone; brothers, Ralph LaCrone Jr., Bob LaCrone, Charles LaCrone, Don LaCrone, Max LaCrone; sisters, Marjorie Sims and Marlene McClain; son, Amos Franklin Shadlow Jr.; grandson, William Shadlow Jr.

Visitation for Carol will be 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy, Oklahoma. Services for Carol will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma with Claudia Lovelace officiating. Burial will follow services at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma. \
