Carla Dee (Banning) Allen

Carla Dee (Banning) Allen, passed from this life on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her home in Pawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 42 years, nine months and twenty eight days.



Carla was born July 10, 1972 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Carl Edwin Banning and Denise Gaileen (Edwards) Neet. Carla was raised and received her education in Pawnee, Oklahoma graduating with the PHS class of 1990. Following high school Carla attended college at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. Carla later obtained her degree and certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse at at Indian Meridian Vo-Tech in Stillwater. On August 27, 1994, Carla was united in marriage to Robert Allen, Jr. at the Pawnee Bill Ranch site by Rev. Don Brown.





Survivors include her husband MSgt Robert Allen, Jr. of Havelock, North Carolina; three children Aaron, Aidan, and Lainie all of Havelock, North Carolina, mom and dad Denise and Glenn Neet of Pawnee, Oklahoma, father Carl Banning and his wife Wanda of Garrett, Indiana, paternal grandmother Elaine Banning of Owasso, Oklahoma her best friend, Hope Mennem Ballard of Louisiana, “her girls” Tia and Belle and a host of other relatives and friends. Carla was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Gail and Janis Riddle Edwards, her beloved paternal grandfather Clarence E. Banning, her favorite uncle Phil Edwards, as well as Claude and Lila Neet.



Memorial Services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Pawnee First United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Brown officiating. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.poteetfuneralhome.com. Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
