Brian Scott Harshbarger

Brian Scott Harshbarger was born on May 6, 1957 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Erwin B. Harshbarger and Thelma B. Harshbarger. He passed from this life on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas having reached the age of 57 years, 3 months, and 15 days. He moved to Lamont Oklahoma from Hunnewell Kansas two years ago. Brian was a gentle soul who loved finding a bargain. You could tell him what you are looking for and he would find it at a great price. He enjoyed repairing washers, dryers, and other appliances and was always willing to help others. He had a great interest in knowing how others believed, and attended many different churches every Sunday. Brian is survived by his mother, Thelma Harshbarger, Glencoe Oklahoma; and his sister, May Harshbarger, Cashion Oklahoma, plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Erwin B. Harshbarger. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee Oklahoma with Rev. Norman Richmond officiating. Interment will be at Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
