Bobby Dean Brixie

Bobby Dean Brixie of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away peacefully from this life on September 27, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 58.

Bobby Dean Brixie was born on January 27, 1964, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Lonnie Charles and Juanita Sue Brixie. Bobby was the middle child of five siblings. Bobby spent his early years in Graham, Texas until his father passed away at the age of 13. Bobby and his family then moved to Barnsdall where he attended school and graduated in 1982. After graduating, Bobby met and fell in love with Lisa Ann Crenshaw and they were married on August 8, 1988. Ever since then, Bobby and Lisa always had fun no matter what they were doing, as long as it was together. Bobby and Lisa had two children that he loved with all his heart, Bryson and Ashlyn.

Bobby was the definition of a family man and one of his greatest accomplishments was being a father. Everything he did was always for the sole benefit of his family. Bobby worked as an Account Manager for Works & Lentz in Tulsa for twenty years and then went on to work with Dish Network for the last few years of his life. Bobby loved to spend quality time with his wife and children. Whether it was a day trip to somewhere new or just a day relaxing around the house, it was all about being with family and making memories together. Bobby loved to have all types of gatherings at the house, and he was a stranger to no one. Bedlam football, holidays, and family game nights were some of the best times, even though Bobby wasn’t necessarily the best at all the games, he was a great tiebreaker and judge. He was typically found in the kitchen making snacks and meals to keep everyone full and happy – he loved to cook. Bobby was very quick-witted and was always the life of any festivity or get-together.

Bobby is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Lisa Brixie and both of his children, Bryson Brixie of Edmond, OK and Ashlyn Brixie of Tahlequah, OK. Four siblings, Nita and Curtis Bray of Avant, OK; David and Nancy Brixie of Bartlesville, OK; Carol Owens of Pawhuska, OK; and Charla Welch of Barnsdall, OK. Mother-in-law, Phyllis Crenshaw of Hominy, OK; Brother-in-law, Dale & Gayla Crenshaw of Hominy, OK; Nephew, Remington and Megan Crenshaw of Fairfax; Nieces, Susan Radford of Pawhuska, OK, Jessica Welch of Wagoner, OK; Kynlee Crenshaw of Tulsa, OK; Adyson Crenshaw of Wynona, OK; Avery Crenshaw of Hominy, OK; along with his friend and caregiver, Ryan Bohner of Hominy, OK. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Juanita Sue Brixie; Father-in-law, Floyd Crenshaw; and Niece, Amanda Casteel King.
