Beverly Irene Horton Obituary Beverly Irene Horton, 54 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Beverly was born on December 18, 1955 to Richard Lee and Virginia Lee (Carney) Hollis at Marshall, Arkansas. She graduated from Prue Public Schools and Sand Springs Beauty College. Beverly is a long-time Hominy resident. She worked as a convenience store cashier for thirteen years. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family; she loved kids and watching movies. Beverly is survived by a son: Danny Horton, Jr., and wife Joy of Hominy; a daughter: Nikki Thomas and husband John of Hominy and Amber Horton of Hominy; five grandchildren: Zackary Horton, John Thomas, Triston Horton, Skylee Thomas and Riley Horton; and siblings: Richard Hollis, Doug Hollis, David Hollis, Bessie Squires, Opal Jeffries, Pat Underwood and Clyde Underwood. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, son Josh, grandson Danny Thomas and siblings Bill and Jake Underwood. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Worship Center with Rev. Kenny Christian. Pastor Wayne Brown and Dorothy Duncan officiating. Taped music selections will be I Will Always Love You , Amarillo By Morning , My Friend , Wind Beneath My Wings , Ready Set Go , Amazing Grace , Angels On the Moon and Keep It Between the Lines . Casket Bearers will be Ronnie Underwood, Ronnie Ellsberry, Deric Dean, Keith Hollis, Donald Berrell (Bones), Clifford Hayes, Sam Shorey and Honorary Casket Bearers Danny Horton, John Thomas, Zackary Horton, John Thomas Jr., Triston and Riley Horton. Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Cemetery with Powell Funeral Home making arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to Powell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
