Betty Suit

Betty Suit, 88, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 in Abilene.

Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday April 11, 2019 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Betty was born on March 2, 1931 in Gray Horse, Oklahoma to the late Luther and Lilly (Pannell) Carpenter.  She and Jack W. Suit were married on July 21, 1947 in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2016. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She and Jack moved to Abilene in 2014 from Tulsa. 

Betty is survived by two daughters, Patricia Justice of Abilene and Judy Davis of Pueblo, Colorado; two sisters, Mary McCullah and Joyce Cox both of Tulsa; four grandchildren, David Justice and Steve Justice both of Abilene, Aaron Suit of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jolene Davis of Pueblo; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
