Betty Marlene (LaCrone) McClain, 80 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on January 12, 2021 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma.

Betty Marlene (LaCrone) McClain was born on February 5, 1940 to Ralph and Georgia (Kamm) LaCrone. Marlene grew up in Hominy, Oklahoma and was a part of the Hominy High School class of 1958. After school, Marlene made her home in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She had two sons, Ronald Gail Jr. and Bruce Alan Havens, whom she loved dearly. Later, Marlene attended business school is Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She then moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma and did clerical work in the medical field for many years. In 2002 Marlene married Raymond McClain and moved to Mannford, Oklahoma until she moved back to Hominy, Oklahoma in more recent years. She was “Nanny” to many people over the years, but her role as Nanny to her grandson and great-grandchildren was something she greatly loved and cherished. 

Betty Marlene is survived by: grandson, Justin Havens and wife Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Lola and Guy Havens; husband, Raymond McClain; brother, Leroy LaCrone; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Betty Marlene is preceded in death by: sons, Ronald Havens Jr. and Bruce Havens; parents, Ralph and Georgia LaCrone; brothers Ralph LaCrone Jr., Bob LaCrone, Charles LaCrone, Don LaCrone, Max LaCrone; sisters Marjorie Sims, and Carol Shadlow whom passed the day after Marlene.
