Alton C. Pee Wee Calvert Sr. Obituary Graveside services for Alton C. Pee Wee Calvert Sr., 59 of Wynona, Oklahoma, were held Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the A. J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma with Mark Shelton officiating. Interment was under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Musical selection for the service was Truckers Prayer. Military services were by the VFW 5th District Rifle Squad. Alton passed away on June 5, 2008 at his residence in Wynona, Oklahoma. He was born on September 24, 1948, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Alton Eugene and Virginia Mae (Siggens) Calvert. Alton served in the U.S. Marines. He married Sharon Taylor, they were together 25 years. They made their home in Wynona since 1996. He was a lifetime member of the O.I.D.A. Trucking Association. Alton was also a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Pershing. Alton is survived by his wife Sharon of the home, eight children: Richard Knighten of Pawhuska; Terrie Lynn Calvert of Las Vegas, NV; Tammy Lea Calvert of Arkansas; Josephine Calvert and Alton C. Calvert Jr. both of Tulsa; Elizabeth Ann DuVall and Tina Marie Knighten both of California; and Mandy Good of Hominy; 23 grandchildren; two brothers: Jackie Calvert, Eugene Calvert; two sisters: Brenda Calvert, Mary Ann Calvert; step mom Flo Calvert and cousin Johnny Siggens. Alton was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Nora Dear and a brother Michael Calvert.
