Allen Isaac Horton Obituary Funeral services for Allen Isaac Horton, age 93, of Prue, Oklahoma were held Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Prue, Oklahoma with Pastor Garry McDevitt officiating. Allen passed away on November 15, 2013, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was born April 25, 1920 in Sennet, Oklahoma to Joseph F. and Lutisha (Huffine) Horton. Allen served his country during WWII in the Army Infantry. He worked for C.E. in Value Company as an assembler in the oil and gas industry. Allen was a longtime Prue resident and a member of the First Baptist Church. Allen is survived by four children: Tobe Horton and wife Paula of LeFlore, Oklahoma, Frank Horton and wife Rhonda, Cindy Young and husband Rick all of Prue, Oklahoma, Katy Thomas and husband Mark of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister: Pearl Pitts of Wichita, Kansas; and a half brother Frank Horton of Lawton, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings. Interment was in the New Prue Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service were "Amazing Grace" a congregational hymn and "I Can Only Imagine" sung by Richie Gourd and Betsy Trelenberg as pianist. Casket bearers were Roger Horton, Donny Horton, Terry Horton, Doug Horton, Brian Clements and Chris Bryan. www.powellfuneralservice.com
